During Milan’s April 2011 furniture fair, Hermēs  announced the launch of its first furniture collection with a breathtaking installation by Japanese architect Shigery Ban. Now the French luxury house carries a full range  fabrics, and wallpapers. Inspired by Hermēs iconic motifs and themes such as equestrian, travel and fantasy.

 CIRCUIT

A contemporary interpretation of the iconic Chaine d’Ancre. The striated rings evoke motor racing tracks.

OPTIQUE CHAÎNE D’ANCRE

The iconic sailor motif revisited by Anamorphée is linked together in a two-tone graphic checkerboard pattern in a contempory spirit. The harmony of natural colors is inspired by shells, sand and the seabed.

FIL D’ARGENT

The design composed of interlaced rings is inspired by the metalwork used for horses harnesses.

LES SANGLES

Girths, buckles and straps necessary for keeping horses blankets in place during horseraces are here interpreted in a monochrome mix of black, grey and white, or in citrus colours.

FINISH

The wallpaper version of the Finish fabric: an exuberant horse race sketched from life.

DUNE

This original drawing of Jeff Fischer recalls coastal flora in a medallion composition. The vegetal patterns with colors patinated by the fresh air reflect pallets of grass, algae and sea water. The technique of engraved printing allows a perfect gouache effect.

RAYURE HIPPIQUE

These stripes in constrasting colours and cadenced lines evoke the bars of show-jumping obstacles.

JUNGLE LIFE MULTICOLORE

Jungle Life’s repeating pattern depicts the jungle surrounding the big cats in love from the now iconic Jungle Love silk scarf designed by Robert Dallet in 2000. The design brings to life an imaginary world of luxuriant vegetation. Jungle Life wallpaper is only available in a multicoloured version, with 21 colours that bring an uplifting, lively and radiant depiction of nature to your walls.

ÉQUATEUR

The iconic design by Robert Dallet created in 1988 presents a vision on a grand scale of equatorial flora and fauna.

FEUILLAGE

Taken from an original gouache by Raoul Dufy, this motif of large palm leaves creates a bold and very graphic play of contrasts.



JARDIN D’OSIER

Inspired by an Indian garden with its flowers, shrubs and fountains, this new design by Pierre Marie illustrates a refined world in which the profusion of plants and flowers symbolises serenity and well-being. The Jardin d’osier wallpaper is available in three colourways to create infinite gardens.

VANNERIE

Designed by Henri d’Origny, this wallpaper printed like a trompe-l’oeil evokes basketry and basket weaving, garden trellises and plaits. Its colours are inspired by natural hues.

UP AND DOWN

These irregular stripes dissemble a graphic device that plays with the letter H.

BIBLIOTHÈQUE

Screen printed in 140cm wide, the design evokes Emile Hermès collection of equestrian books.

QUARTZ

This Henri d’Origny drawing comes from the tie archives. A graphic and contempory construction featuring the metallic and facetted H.

TRANSAT ROCABAR

The iconic Rocabar revisited by Franck et Mariétou Mouteault in a seaside spirit, is expressed in a brushed gouache stripe reminiscent of painted planks of the boardwalk.

HERRINGBONE

The herringbone design with a raised motif pays homage to the traditional fabric associated with the equestrian world of Hermès.

VOILIERS

Jean-Louis Clerc has enlarged this small seaside watercolor illustration. This wallpaper reminds sketchbooks and evokes a painting of a regatta on a quiet sea on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

COTTE DE MAILLONS

A design created by Henri d’Origny for the tie colletction, Cotte de maillons is a delicate design of continuous, interlocking rings which evoke the metallic pieces used on harnesses. It is a continuation of the Fil d’argent design, on a smaller scale and with a more jewellery-inspired spirit.

CLOU MÉDOR

The Médor Nail, metallic element from the Hermès jelewry collections is here illustrated in trompe l’oeil in cameo shades reinforced by the metallic effects.

OP’H

This design from the Hermès archives, composed of vertically stacked Hs, has been a great inspiration to the house since the 1950s.

H LINK

The H link Hs fit together like links in a chain to form undulating lines. The H motif comes in two-tone colour schemes in a wide variety of natural hues. The Craie, Mica, Blond and Lime colour schemes are embellished with metallic flecks.

PELE MELE

Block-printed by hand in France using a traditional technique, this fresco pays homage to the house’s equestrian history.
